Relationships:

The shop staff and owners are really helpful, and very nicely dealing with us (customer). Here in Finland in all shop they respect their customer. They market their product well. I have not been involved in any CRM/Customer Relationship Management But they value us so much as their customer. Also from the company’s point CRM is important to know the real customers who buy their product. To keep their existing customers and make new customers are also a technical thing, so they have online support, feedback collection and consulting with sales person in the stores. Beside from the direct consulting, all internet based services are based on technological developments. So, technology is an important part of the CRM for Garnier.

Nicely Available?

Garnier is available almost in all the major cities in the world. Since it is a good brand in the market many stores and sellers want to sell Garnier product in their stores. It may also be because of the good marketing channel of the Garnier Company. From the point of production till the transportation to the stores are linked with the marketing channel. So, the marketing channel of Garnier may be very good.

At any cost? :

Shampoos are mostly herbal products with chemical composition for further benefits for hair and beauty. The pricing is mostly covered with he production cost and logistical cost. Also promotional strategy and research and development are cost factors mixed with the pricing strategy. Competition is also important when pricing the product. Competitors’ prices are to be with in range where the product is almost similar. But the final price may be different from store to store because of the stores’ own pricing policy and that the Garnier may not have control over. So, the final consumer may pay slight different price from store to store because of this factor. But my view point is that it is worth buying the Garnier product.

I was hit:

Grainier often offers promotional items with their products like shampoos and conditioners, a mini-radio, and a headband. The Garnier line offers shampoos, conditioners and styling gel. Grainier products are available at many different stores. The Grainier products are affordable and a great value for their cost. They prompt their product on television, magazines, newspapers, posters and in every ways that they think they can reach the people.

Market mix:

· Price – generally fair comparing to other competitive products

Promotion – they have simple and attractive marketing advertisements. Also in some stores they also occupy their own stall to promote their products.

This is something I love

Garnier is a well-known brand in the market of hair-products and cosmetics’ products. Their green coloured package container is like their brand image. The shiny look of the model on the package is also attractive which might be influential to buying that product. Also, the Garnier brand is a global brand in my opinion which can be bought almost in all major cities of this world. Also the outcome after the use of the Garnier shampoo is outstanding in my case. I am totally satisfied witht he product with its results. It has good promising advertisements as explained in marketing of the products.

Targeting Strategy:

Actually this product is for all kinds of people such as young people, male, female, middle-age peoples. People specially buy this product due to contents of healthy minerals for hair. So, the company is some how successful in their targeting strategy on mainly targeting the hair caring people. Since, they have this minerals content different from other products. They use this features as their main targeting strategy. Since the age group has not much difference on buying their product, they are mainly targeted for the group of hair-caring people of almost of all economic backgrounds.

This is what I am ;

As a customer I am a choosy customer. I visit the shops and see the products and actually I concentrate to the quality of the product rather than its price. While go to buy the things I don’t visit just 1 shop I need to visit various shops to see the difference between the product. The more I visit and see the product the more knowledge I get to choose the best quality

1. The Business ; Grainier Cosmetics

2. Suppliers; cosmetics companies supply the raw materials to the granter company like shampoo contents, plastic containers and bottle.

3. Buyers; Buyers are all kind of people who want to care their skin, hair, and body parts.

There are different types of parts for different parts of the body for different purposes.

4. Marketing Intermediaries; when they make the final product they use different types of Intermediaries to sell their product. Such intermediaries are retail store, departmental store or beauty parlours. Also there is competition between intermediaries to promote the product.

    • Micro Marketing Environment :

1. Political; the country where grainier has its company has to follow the political situation of that country. The political environment effects its production and supply. Also the political environment of its market countries effects is its business.

2. Legal; system of the country where grainer produces its product and sells its product are important factors to consider before and after starting business.

3. Technology; Other cosmetic companies also always try to develop their product by new technologies. So grainer also has to be up to date with new technologies.

4. Economic and Competitor; people should buy the product to make the company profitable. There are so many competitors in the market. So grainier most choose the good market people can afford its product. So the economic environment of the country has big impact in its business.

Grainier is a company producing hair care products, including the Fructose line, which is sold around the world. It is a brand of L’Oreal. One of their key ingredients is a fruit concentrate used in all their products. It is a combination of fruit acids, vitamin B3 and B6, fructose and glucose.

Marketing from my viewpoint

Marketing is buying and selling something to the people. Marketing activities are all those associated with identifying the particular wants and needs of a target market of customers, and then going about satisfying those customers better than the competitors. Marketing is all about providing information about the product to the customer by the various types of media. I just want to get more and more information about the product that I am buying. So I finally buy the product only after I am satisfy with the information provided in the goods. Also marketing from different competitors helps me to choose the right product.
